A variety of aquatic stem plants that do not require special equipment, care, or knowledge. Includes moneywort, dark red ludwigia, and green cabomba.

The three varieties of aquatic plants included in this combo pack are fast-growing and grow by using waste and pollutants in the water, making them an extremely effective part of your biological filtration.  They have the potential to greatly reduce or even eliminate the need for water changes!  

Each of these stem plants are fantastic for giving your aquarium a natural look.  You can combine them with driftwood and river stones or natural-colored gravel to replicate a natural-looking aquatic ecosystem!  They make a beautiful upgrade over plastic plants, which can look tacky and make your tank appear unnatural.

       1. Moneywort (multiple 8 to 16 inch long stems): a popular stem plant that has exceptionally bright green leaves and thrives even in poorly lit aquariums.
       2. Dark Red Ludwigia (multiple 8 to 12 inch long stems): another stem plant that grows quickly and has very colorful leaves with a striking red/green contrast.
       3. Green Cabomba (multiple 8+ inch stems): also known as Carolina Fanwort, this is a highly dense freshwater perennial plant with delicate, feather-like leaves that add natural beauty to any aquatic landscape.
 


All three of the plants are easy to grow and are fine with low-light setups, although more light means faster and denser growth.  These plants will grow enough to fill a 30 gallon aquarium in 2 months or less.   They grow by absorbing waste including ammonia and nitrates from the water, which means less pollutants causing smelly or cloudy water and makes for happier fish and invertebrates!
